Hikari no nai
Concept
There is a rectangular opening at the back of the stage, and the floor and ceiling are concentrated from the proscenium arch in front of the stage toward the opening.
A high-intensity space that is minimal but drags the viewer.
“Hikari no nai. (There is no light.)" is a drama written by the Austrian Nobel Prize writer, El Friede Jelenek, immediately after the Great East Japan Earthquake and the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant accident.

Detail
Make a voice without appearance
There is a shallow pit between the previous stage and the main stage, and twelve choruses lie down like throwing their feet towards the slope of the main stage.
From the spectator seat, only the legs are visible.
The “voiceless voice” that springs from the fissure of the earth fills the dark tunnel, and the entire stage device acts as an acoustic reflector.
